Credit & Collections Administrative Assistant

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

*  Sort and distribute department faxes and mail daily.

*  Data entry of account updates & changes daily to ensure that the information on the system is accurate & current.

*  Process credit inquiries on a daily basis.

*  Complete the bounced check process daily

*  Maintain periodic billing function.

*  Order supplies and maintain inventory for the functional area.

*  Schedule various department meetings through Time & Place as needed.

*  Data entry of payroll for Credit & Collections and Accounts Receivable

*  Mail & stuff customer statements on a monthly basis

*  File all documents daily including credit applications

*  Learn the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC?s mission.

Participate in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

 EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

q High school diploma or the equivalent required.

Two years administrative or commercial credit and collections experience or the equivalent required.

 SKILLS:

q Good CRT, PC and D&B skills are required.

Good oral and written communication skills are required.
