This position is responsible for enforcing the Company's credit policies and collection of its trade policies.

Interacts with Finance, Sales, Customer Customer Service and Marketing Department personnel.

 

Principle Accountabilities:

?Establish, analyze and manage credit limits up to $100K.

?Maintain a close knowledge of customer requirements, such as Letters of Agreements, special terms and discounts.

?Research and resolve customer inquiries or disputes.

? Call a minimum of 25 customers requiring collection each day.

?Maintain credit and collection files.

?Generate and coordinate mailing of monthly account statements. 

?Generate credit related reports.

?Prepare analysis of customer "problem accounts" for management review.

 

Minimum Requirements:

? High school diploma or equivalent.

? At least four (4) years credit and collection experience, related to tangible product, required.  Previous experience in establishing customer credit limits, up to $100K.

? Familiarity with Microsoft suite software; Typing skills 35 wpm; Experience working with a fully ERP system, preferablyAS400. 

?    Excellent  written and verbal  communication skills, including the demonstrated ability to resolve escalated customer issues. 

? Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, high energy, fast paced environment; Ability to multi-task.

? Excellent analytical abilities related to analyzing credit exposure and risk monitoring; Ablility to analyze a D&B report.
