Job Description
PURPOSE:

The Customer Service Associate is responsible for answering and handling inbound calls from client employees as well as conducting outbound calls for follow up as required.? All calls are recorded and can be evaluated according to quality and efficiency guidelines.? The Customer Service Associate will greet the employee, answer concerns and questions educating them on their health and group benefits, and solving complex issues relating to their health and group benefits.? The customer Service Associate will be responsible for providing professional, knowledgeable and helpful, courteous and responsive customer service.

Job Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-????????? Utilizes personal computer and Windows XP and Lotus Notes software (knowledge of tools i.e., calculator, data entry and navigating the Internet) to access customer accounts and product information for features and problem resolution.
-????????? Utilizes the telephone system with headset throughout the workday.
-????????? Assists customers with a wide variety of benefit questions and plan features via information accessed through the computer.? Reviews the employee's account and answers questions within the parameters of Hewitt's policies and procedures.
-????????? Creates and updates 4employee file in database via computer as authorized by Hewitt.
-????????? Keeps current on Hewitt's programs and services through on-going training provided by Hewitt and by utilizing the computer based program.
-????????? Attends meetings and training as directed.
-????????? Performs additional tasks as directed.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITY:
-????????? Excellent verbal communications and listening skills via telephone.
-????????? Ability to read and retrieve data via computer using Windows NT and Lotus Notes environment.
-????????? Ability to 'more than satisfy' a customer by providing outstanding customer service ensuring customer's questions/issues/concerns has been answered.
-????????? Ability to be flexible, adaptable and dependable in an environment that is constantly upgrading/enhancing service/technology capabilities to its' customers.

REQUIREMENTS:
-????????? College degree or Junior college degree in addition to 1 year full time customer service related experience or High School diploma or equivalency and 2 years full time customer service related experience
-????????? Windows 2000 or NT proficiency at 70% with a focus on multi-tasking using several windows applications at once while assisting a customer
-????????? Minimum of 2 years customer service experience or 2 years post-high school education and 1 year of customer service experience.
-????????? Flexibility to work specified shift and extended hours as necessary.

Salary and Benefits:
?Salary for this position is $13.00 hourly.
