Are you a customer-oriented professional who's looking for a great position in the healthcare field? If so, we invite you to explore a career as a Customer Service associate in our friendly Phoenix office. In this role, you would have the opportunity to gain both Medicaid and Medicare experience by assisting members with questions, issues, enrollment, or any other assistance they may need with their plan. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience while making a difference in our members' lives.


 


Primary responsibilities include:


 


Taking inbound calls and making outbound calls to conduct orientations and health risk assessments for plan members

Verifying eligibility of benefits

Handling the retention of an assigned book of business

Providing team support to coworkers

Assisting members with finding specialists

Forwarding viable leads to the inside sales team



Previous experience in member services, provider services, or case management is required. Experience working in a team setting is essential. PC and MS Office proficiency is a must. Bilingual skills in Spanish are highly preferred. Call center experience and a managed care background are desired. Managed care claims experience is also preferred.
