This position involves direct customer contact via telephone including, but is not limited to contacting customers regarding product availability; actively participating in project work by collecting data and analyzing the data as well as communicating the results to management and others as appropriate. Preparation and delivery of presentations to management and others regarding project work; reviewing and taking action on daily reports; sorting departmental mail, sorting, distributing and filing fax orders, filing customer records, records retention for the department and other Customer Service support tasks as assigned.



High School diploma is required. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a call center environment is required. Direct customer contact via telephone, making outbound calls to follow up with customers or communicate with internal contacts and business partners. This position requires attention to detail, teamwork, good judgment, dependability, excellent follow through, problem solving, and ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously. Must have excellent telephone and communication skills and possess initiative. Excellent keyboarding skills are required.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, intermediate to advanced skills are required.  Experience with JD Edwards Order Entry system is preferred. The ideal candidate must be able to work 5 days a week, either 9:30am – 1:30pm or 11:30am – 3:30pm shift. This position is located in Rochester, New York.
