POSITION TITLE:
Data Coordinator
Job Description:
The Data Coordinator will support the Financial Reporting function for the Internal Accounting department. Responsibilities include setup and maintenance of clients, vendors, and employees as well as communicating relevant information to other parties as applicable. Other responsibilities include archival of historical files, posting of daily cash receipts, updating various Excel schedules used for year end tax preparation, review and follow up of required time entry, and miscellaneous administrative duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Client setup and maintenance, including retrieval of new client forms and necessary follow up to ensure complete and accurate information is received and entered
· Setup new employees in Time and Billing software and verify that all relevant data is included
· Setup new vendors, obtain independent contractor information as applicable, determine and set up payment terms, etc; set up new files for recurring vendors; periodically review vendor list for inactive vendors
· Archival of accounting information, including annual rotation of accounting files into archives, maintenance of log containing archives data, and retrieval of files as necessary
· Maintenance of Excel workbooks for various accounts, including those necessary for year end tax preparation
· Other administrative duties as necessary
Job Requirements:
Education Requirements
· High school diploma required, 2 year degree desirable
Other Requirements:
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Excellent communications skills with the ability to demonstrate professionalism, diplomacy, and patience with internal customers
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively
· Detail oriented and able to work independently
· Strong customer service skills, including problem identification and follow up as necessary
