Data Entry / Customer Service / General Office

Full or part time.  We are a small office - 4 people -- and we work hard and we have fun along the way. We are a non-profit medical association near So. Coast Plaza (established in 1976). Kind of a unique, casual environment that works well for someone who likes to work behind the scenes and do a superb job of making others and the organization as a whole look good. A strong work ethic is required and a pleasing personality helps us all enjoy our work days.

 

This is a job for someone who pays incredible attention to detail.  Detail, detail, detail. Our data entry requirement is not just keying in information. You must be able to learn what should go where and be able to discern what some of the entries on the written form are really meant to be. It is not hard if you are sharp. It is just a lot of ? you guessed it ? attention to detail!

 

You must type at least 50 words per minute. Our database software is unique to us and we offer extensive training. In addition to the data entry, you will also be doing photocopying, preparing membership documents, stuffing and metering mailings and other general office duties as required.

Most days you will be doing many different things. With an office this size, everyone does a bit of everything. Accounting and/or customer service experience is a bonus. We are looking for full time or, for the right person --  flexible part time. This is an immediate opening. Full time employees are eligible for health benefits. Located near Warner and Fairview in Santa Ana. Modest, non-profit offices. This could be an excellent long term career for someone who likes to work in a small, quiet environment as a support person for others. You will constantly learn and grow within this position. The right person will have the talent and the desire to make this position "their own." That person will be given more and more responsibilities and will be compensated accordingly.
