Data Entry Technician/Quality and Provisioning Clerk

POSITION SUMMARY:The Data Entry Technician is responsible for monitoring the data entry ticket Que as well as Deployed, Client Area and Reload Completed Que?s for timely completion of ticket resolution. Technicians will communicate directly with customers to ensure accurate transfer of information such as usernames and passwords for client systems and monitoring tools in a professional articulate manner. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:% OF TIME



 

 ? Receive customer action requests from the support dispatcher. Escalate problems as necessary.

 ? Update database and create bandwidth graphs for client servers.  Communicate login and tool information to clients via email and ticketing system.

 ? Compares data entered with source documents.

 ? Provide detailed documentation of activities and issues through trouble ticket system.

 ? Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data.

 ? Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic database form.

 ? Manage and document equipment and control panel/software license inventory

 SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:

 

 ? Assist customer with resetting account access as needed.

 ? Provide shift coverage for other team members as required.

 ? Private switch port analysis

 ? Assist NOC Support Technicians as required

20% KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

 ? Excellent communication skills are required.

 ? Direct customer support experience is required. 

 ? The ability to work first, second and third shift is required.

 ? Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology..

 ? The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.

 ? computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to verify, set up functions, enter data, or process information. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

 Education and/or equivalent years of experience.

 A minimum of 1 year hands-on technical experience is required.  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
