The Data Specialist position is accountable for:

?  Accurate and timely updating and input of data required for the proxy distribution, proxy voting or security class action operations

?  Organizes daily workload to ensure that required turnaround times are met

?  Provides status updates to team leader or manager as requested

?  Maintains appropriate paper and electronic files as required by ISS and client file retention policies

?  Adheres to all company policies regarding data security and data confidentiality

?  Supports client relations team in resolving specific client questions or issues with data operations

?  Follows ISS Standard Operating procedures and meets key performance indicator targets on a regular basis

?  Assists other team members as required to meet varying workloads

 

Skills:

 

?  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

?  Willingness to learn about ISS systems used in the research, proxy distribution and voting services

?  Ability to organize and work effectively in an environment with fluctuating workloads

 

Experience:

 

?  Minimum 1 or more years experience working in an office environment

?  Experience with proxy voting processes is a plus

?  Working knowledge with Microsoft Office products

?  Associate or Bachelor degree or Technical School Certification or equivalent experience
