Department Administrator - Procurement - LOCAL
Summary: Our client is dedicated to nuclear power around the world.? They provide comprehensive engineering, instrumentation and control, nuclear services, heavy component manufacture, modernization, fuel assemblies for many reactor designs, including those supplied by other vendors, and the development and construction of nuclear power plants and research reactors.
?
They have an immediate need for an Administrator in the Procurement Department.? This role is a combination of administrative duties as well as assisting 4 Subcontract Administrators and supporting the Department Manager.? This is a long term (18 month+) contract position with compensation ranging from $18-20/hr.?
?
Candidate MUST BE LOCAL to Charlotte, NC (University area) and able to start work no later than 7/20/06.?
?
Requirements:
Demonstrated knowledge of Powerpoint, including flow charts and slide shows.
Advanced skills in Excel to include formulas, linking data from other workbooks, familiarity with pivot tables.
Intermediate knowledge of Word and Adobe Acrobat - including form creation (fill-in-the blank) and converting Word file to Adobe.
Experience with Outlook - notes, calendar, email.
Excellent proofreading skills.
Assertiveness as well as the ability to work independently (seeking answers on your own).
Ability to work overtime if needed (not common)

Responsibilities:
Grant and maintain electronic procurement document access.
Create presentations in Powerpoint.
Create and maintain numerous Excel spreadsheets.
Create documents in Word, including forms.
Maintain Outlook Calendar for self and others, including meetings
Create/maintain numerous spreadsheets for procurement tracking purposes.
Maintain non-disclosure agreements (confidential, pre-qual's), documents from potential vendors.
Maintain manager's travel information.? Sometimes make travel arrangements, may research best price on web.
Do all on-line FedEx shipping for the department
Maintain templates, logos, forms formats.? Modify and update as needed and?as approved by manager.
Maintain long term binder storage.
Secure resources for the department (meeting rooms, laptops, data view machine, extension cords, etc).? Person needs to know how to run slide presentations, data view machine.
Maintain complex electronic document storage system.
