Diesel Shipping Coordinator

SUMMARY OF POSITION:   This position will have primary responsibility for all shipment scheduling functions performed at the JMECT Warehouse. In addition, this position coordinates the receipt and dispatch of non-precious metal raw materials and is responsible for shipment scheduling for domestic JM customers. This position supervises contracted labor and assists with monthly, semi-annual and fiscal chemical and finished goods inventories at the warehouse.JOB DESCRIPTION: The Shipping Scheduler reports directly to the Shipping Manager. The incumbent must interact directly with all domestic and overseas customers (or their agents), as well as members of JMECT Sales and Quality / Control Assurances to effectively coordinate the availability and shipment of product to JMECT customers. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Schedules material for shipment to meet forecasted customer requirements and coordinates with internal departments to fulfill customer orders.  Handles the receipt and shipment of all non-precious metal raw material chemicals stored at the warehouse and delivers chemicals requested to support the JMECT production process.  Assists in supervising daily operations of the warehouse. This includes the operations required to ensure that defect free product is supplied to all JMECT customers. Maintains direct responsibility for the work efforts and procedures adherence for all contracted labor at the warehouse ensuring that JMECT practices (work/safety) are followed as an extension of JM Wayne.  Performs a physical inventory on a monthly, semi-annual and fiscal inventory basis ensuring that all inventory control systems are reconciled to reflect the accurate status of finished goods lots.  Knowledge, Skills and Educational Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalence. Post-secondary education desired.  Shipping, receiving, inventory control and domestic/international traffic procedures are highly desired.
