In this position you will, maintain and control; documents produced by Engineering and Product Development, as well as, perform diversified administrative functions for Engineering Manager.
Qualifications
Develop, create, administer, and maintain departmental documents, records and files including Engineering Manual and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Administer and maintain paper copy as well as electronic documentation of all pertinent departmental correspondence, information, reports, and requests.
Manage engineering change orders and deviations. Review, process and ensure change orders are processed accurately, timely and communicated to all departments as required.
Circulate signatory forms to establish interdepartmental accountability and to secure detailed data as required. File permanent paper copies of ECO's including drawings, specifications, and other support documents, in order of part number.
Maintain, update, and circulate part specifications based on part number. Keep historical record of revisions. Maintain and validate chronological record of corresponding certifications received from vendors.
Obtain technical description of particular material or component from manager. Locate and procure sources, prices, lead times, and alternatives from industrial, manufacturing, and OEM suppliers.
Create and maintain Bills of Materials, to ensure accuracy in materials, and all relevant parts affected.
Collect and maintain data and history related to Bills of Materials.
