Job Overview:??Serves as Manager in the Document & Creative Services Center of Expertise (DCS-COE) focused on people and operational strategies.? This position will lead strategic analysis and the implementation of critical COE operational and people strategies nationally, develop new strategies, and serve as an expert for DCS services.??
?
Overview of Document & Creative Services-Center of Expertise (DCS COE):? The DCS-COE is responsible for delivering high quality word processing, proofreading and graphic design services to customers across all levels and functions within Delotte.? Working in collaboration with the
Regional Operations Leaders, the DCS COE develops organizational and operational strategy and implements standard workflow processes and performance measures. The COE manages the daily operations of six regional centers in the U.S. and one center in India totally approximately 325 DCS professionals.?

Job Responsibilities:?
- ???? Work with other DCS-COE personnel in the overall support of the DCS-COE mission and strategy
- ????? Develop and execute action plans to promote the U.S. Firms' strategy of Where the Best Choose to Be within DCS.?
- ????? Work as a liason with Human Resources to execute the U.S. Firms' human resources initiatives such as performance management, compensation, reward and recognition, training and recruiting within DCS?
- ????? Lead and implement strategic people related and operational projects as defined by the Director of the DCS COE.? Examples of FY07 projects include: DCS competency model development and national DCS orientation
development?
- ????? Become a subject matter expert around high level DCS operational strategy, as well as business processes.? Contribute to the continued development of the national DCS strategy?
- ????? Create persuasive management presentations and other support materials to drive the identification, communication and implementation of people and operational improvement findings????
- ????? This position can be located in any major U.S. Deloitte office
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably in professional client service (in a consultative capacity) and operations.? An MBA is preferred.? ?
- Significant project management skills, including:? project scoping, workplan development, resource planning, ability to manage multiple projects and team members; proven record of bringing projects in on time and on budget.
- Strong consultative skills.? Ability to perform
needs assessment and define project objectives;? Possession of strong process and business skills to develop and implement relevant solutions.? Ability to develop and articulate methodology and vision to team members to perform project work.?
- Possess a working knowledge of the internal financial, operational and human resource systems and the manner in which they interface to produce financial and operational information.?
- Strong computer skills using the standard software applications
- A passion for customer service with ability to identify with the customer and translate their needs into customer-centric processes and high quality work product.?
- Team player who works effectively in a cross-functional environment and understands the impact of future business changes on DCS operations
- Self-motivated and organized (enabled to manage multiple projects simultaneously)
- Possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including presentation
skills necessary to address senior leaders of the U.S. Firms
- Flexible work style.? The scope and variety of work will frequently change depending on the current environment and change needs of the Operations function.
- Moderate travel (about 15%) will be required given the expected center management interactions and the hands-on nature of the position
