Documentation Specialist/Administrative Assistant

Potomac Management Group, Inc is searching for a Documentation Specialist/Administrative Assistant.  The right candidate will provide customer service to walk-in applicants; answer phones/questions from callers; maintain mariner files; review mariner applications for completeness; type/print mariner credentials; take fingerprints (training provided).  Requirements: High School Diploma plus 3 years experience, Associates Degree preferred. Excellent computer skills and experience using MS Word, Outlook & Access required.  Must pass a criminal background check and be a US Citizen as required by the contract.  Must have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and be able to work closely with others in a demanding team environment.  Experience working with the government or state desired.
