We are currently recruiting for a Eligibility Service Representative (ESR). Please read on for more details regarding this position.  Reports to Manager of Operations Administrative/Claims

 

Position Summary:

The position requires the daily processing (Data Entry) of enrollment forms and updates from numerous sources (Email, Fax, System and Mail).  Data Entry consists of additions, termination and changes to the Encore system. This position has the responsibility for providing timely and accurate information to our clients and internal employees. This position is critical to assuring that the Encore system is keeping accurate records of the updates for the clients so that data needed is current. 

 

 

Responsibilities include the following:Demonstrate proficiency and accuracy in Data Entry SkillsGood Communication Skills - Written and VerbalThe ability to do accurate Record keepingKnowledge of HIPPA Compliancy and its importance in the insurance industry.Good Filing skillsPerform other related duties as assigned

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent.  AA in business or equivalent preferred.

 

Experience:  Two plus years eligibility/data entry experience in a managed healthcare, insurance, and/or account work environment. Experience in the vision insurance industry would be preferred.

 

  Knowledge/Skills:
