Engineering Administrative Assistant

The Engineering Administrative Assistant (EA) will provide advanced support to the Director of Engineering and Senior Engineering Management. The EA will handle highly confidential details and of critical nature. Assists in special projects as required by the Engineering Management Team.  Maintains calendars, project schedules and project reports. Will collect and prepare information for administrative reports and presentation for use in discussions/meetings of engineering staff and outside individuals. This position will require the use of; continuous technical and business vocabulary, including detailed knowledge of the overall business operation, its organizational procedures, and personnel. Within established guidelines, makes independent decisions regarding planning, organizing, and scheduling of work.

 

This position requires an BA/BS degree or equivalent and minimum 5 years recent, related experience working in supporting Senior Engineering Management.  Advanced applied knowledge of all MS Office applications, including MS Project. Strong organizational skills.  Advance level of detail and accuracy.  Strong written and oral communication skills.

 

Able to manage a variety of tasks and meet multiple demands in a dynamic atmosphere, in addition to working with all levels of personnel and thrive in a team oriented environment.
