Ingersoll Rand Climate Control Technologies Sector is seeking an experienced Engineering Change Coordinator for our Bridgeton, MO location.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The position will establish processes, procedures driven by data to effectively implement Engineering Change Notices. Success results in lower inventory investment, reduced inventory carrying cost and obsolescence (OSMI), reduced stock outs and associated stock out costs in operations and high performance in end item on time shipment/delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Track and lead implementation of ECN's in the plant:

* Ensure that quality plans, MOA's, assembly instructions and CTQ's are identified and/or updated prior to implementation of an ECN.
* Assist in the containment and disposition of material related to changes.
* Assist in the communication of ECN's to the shop floor.
* Capture serial numbers of units and dates of ECN implementations.
* Verify implementation by physically auditing the affected area's of ECN's ensuring that desired effects of the ECN were accomplished.
* Report metrics weekly and monthly on ECN process (Metrics to be developed).

Coordinate ECN Implementation Between Engineering / Manufacturing and Quality:

* Equipment / process modifications / process approvals.
* Coordinate Cp and Cpk studies to verify capability indices.

Define and Implement An ECN Process.

Participate on special project teams representing the quality department:

* Accelerated Change Process (ACP's) as assigned.
* New product teams.

Successfully analyzes the existing OSMI such that the disposal cost is minimized.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Working knowledge of Manufacturing process / inventory process.

3 + years experience in Quality experience in manufacturing environment.

ECN Experience.

Practical use and knowledge of the APQP tools.

Experience in problem solving tools such as 8-D, 5 Why, IR CAP process and DMIAC.

Organization skills and ability to multi-task.

Knowledge of ISO 9000:2000
