Escrow Assistant

 

Freedom Settlement Company is seeking a full time Escrow Assistant to work in a fast paced and growth oriented company.  Freedom is located at Berks Homes, a large volume Berks County based homebuilder in Mohnton, PA.  We are currently looking for a qualified individual to expedite real estate closings for Berks Homes.  Job responsibilities for this position include:

 

?  Entering new orders and setting up files

?  Responsible for scheduling closings and gathering necessary information for closing of the settlement process, including ordering closing packages, mortgage payoffs, etc.

?  Deed preparation when necessary

?  Drafting closing documents and preparing file for closing

?  Responsible for entering deposits, printing checks, and preparing title policies

?  Other duties as required

 

Interested individuals are required to have the following skills:

 Excellent organizational and scheduling skills Ability to coordinate multiple tasks Attention to detail; accuracy is a must Solid interpersonal and communication skills Prior knowledge of real estate settlements or banking is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office products Strong numerical skills
