Executive Assistant

 

Veolia Environmental Services formally known as Onyx Waste Services is a fully integrated solid waste services company providing collection, transfer, recycling and disposal services to more than 1,000,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers in 11 states. 

 

We have an immediate need for an EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT to work in the corporate office in Milwaukee, WI.  This position will provide executive/administrative support to the President and several Vice Presidents.

 

Responsibilities of the position are:

? Make travel arrangements for executive staff and executive visitors

? Prepare PowerPoint presentations

? Prepare letters and correspondence, either creating own or from dictated material

? Answer, screen and return phone calls for President, especially customer calls

? Prepare and update directories of all Onyx business units

? Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports

? Schedule conference calls

? Plan and coordinate various meetings and luncheon events.

? Plan and coordinate annual Controllers conference

? Assist in the annual preparation of bonus letters

? Order and maintain inventory of office supplies

 

Qualifications of the position:

? Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality

? Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment

? Must be detail oriented

? Must have excellent organizational and communication skills

? Must be a self-starter that is able to work independently and follow through to completion

? Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint

? Some accounting knowledge is required.

? Ability to maintain a flexible schedule and work extra hours as needed.
