In this position you will support the Vice President of Sales Planning & Reporting for American General VALIC.

What you will be doing:
In this critical administrative position, you will function as a right hand person and play a key role in prioritizing and interpreting information and interacting with senior level executives and key customers. You will coordinate and organize meetings, projects, company activities and schedules as well as compile and prepare reports and presentations. Deals with budgets and financials. Confidentiality is extremely important in this position. If you have a thirst for knowledge and desire to grow your career, this is the position for you.

What we require:

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and organizational abilities, enjoy working independently and must exercise sound decision making skills. In addition, you must have excellent follow through, strong business acumen and demonstrate a high level of energy and adaptability. Numbers oriented and detail oriented. Heavy financials.
Must have excellent PC skills, ability to use a variety of software packages. Excellent telephone skills, good proofreading abilities, knowledge of correct rules of grammar, punctuation and spelling, excellent organizational skills are a must. Ability to handle and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously with minimum error. Ability to work independently as well as coordinate projects with other administrative assistants and staff. 4 - 6 years of administrative experience required.
