Executive Assistant - Guy Carpenter - Marketing & Communications - New York, NY

1.  Superior organizational skills.2.  Ability/Skill to deal with senior management within and outside Guy Carpenter.3.  Strong ability to prioritize workload according to volume, urgency, etc.4.  Strong teamwork skills to effectively coordinate/collaborate with other Executive Assistants.5.  Proven ability to work for multiple managers.6.  Excellent adminstrative skills (scheduling, travel and entertainment planning, expense reports etc.)7.  Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office/Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - QuickBook a plus).8.  Proven ability to manage numerous projects, participate on several project teams simultaneously, and initiative to follow up.9.  Experience interfacing with third-party vendors.Good written and oral communication skills.


1.3-5 years of work experience in an adminstrative role for senior management, preferably in a marketing and/or communications area.
2. High School Degree, some college preferred.
3.  Manage meeting planning, travel and entertainment, departmental budgeting/billing, typing, and filing for Corporate Marketing & Communications.
4.  Manage vendor billing, credit applications, check requisition process, and budgets.
5.  Assist with event administration (name badges, mailings, etc.).
6.  Assist with administration of web-related projects (content management, client extranet sign-up, meeting and merchandising software).
7.  Perform other job-related duties with managerial approval or assigned by staff with the authority to do so.
