The Executive Assistant provides primary administrative support for designated officers of Washington Mutual. The assistant acts as a problem identification and resolution resource, answers questions, provides guidance, troubleshoots and follows up with customers in resolving problems; may coordinate (or act as liaison) between functions/departments as required to facilitate problem resolution. The assistant reviews documents to determine how they will affect internal processing and determine appropriate course of action; performs general office/secretarial tasks such as monitoring/ordering standard office supplies, collating and assembling documents, accepting and delivering inter-department correspondence, photocopying/faxing correspondence and reports, attending meetings and taking/distributing minutes, scheduling appointments and maintaining supervisor's calendar, screen calls/visitors, and make travel arrangements.



- 4 to7 years experience supporting senior management

- Operate office equipmen

t such as PC/ Printer, Photocopier, and Fax Machine

- Intermediate to advance proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite

- Must show good judgment and initiative in selecting the most effective work methods and tools

- Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

- Must have previous experience with event/project coordination

- Previous experience maintaining executives' work and travel schedules is required
