Executive Assistant to the CEO

The CEO of one of New Mexico?s largest private companies seeks an Executive Assistant.? You will be responsible for a wide range of complex and confidential tasks. Work closely with the CEO on all areas including planning, internal and external relations, operations, budget planning, and marketing and financial analysis. The position carries substantial responsibility, requires a broad range of skills and the ability to exercise considerable judgment, initiative, discretion, and independence. ?The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a business leader working with a corporate CEO, President or CFO.

Major Duties and Responsibilities: Participates in, coordinates and directs administrative support functions, handling work flow, filing, ordering of supplies, and record maintenance.Works independently and within a team on special and nonrecurring projects and events.? Prepares, analyzes, and monitors financial and budget records. Coordinate review and distribution of company documents, including business interpretation. Gathers and analyzes information from a wide variety of sources and prepares related reports to deliver accurate information to the CEO.Covers Administrative Assistant?s responsibilities when AA is not available.Partners with the CEO on strategic initiatives, business activities, potential threats, opportunities, and recommended actions. Participates in acquisition and growth activities to support corporate strategic initiatives. Participates in strategic marketing direction and supports CEO direction in those matters. Communicates CEO initiatives and information to internal business partners and external PR.

QualificationsBA/BS and previous experience supporting a senior manager required Solid and relevant office management and administrative experience Proven ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner and understand the business implications of decisions Excellent oral and written communication skills Exceptional organizational skills required with ability to meet designated deadlines.Advanced proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point.Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities.? Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
