Communicates and provides customer service to all levels of field, corporate, and departmental staff members regarding legal and non legal matters.  Screens telephone calls and visitors and resolves routine and some complex inquiries.  Assists with word processing of correspondence and memoranda, database inputs and maintenance.  Drafts and proofs documents as requested.  Assists with maintenance of corporate minute books and records.  Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments, and meetings and coordinates related arrangements for attorneys.  Handles travel needs for attorneys by determining travel dates and destination, mode of transportation, and ensuring finances are reimbursed to traveler.  Completes special projects.  Responsible for payment/bills processing, check requests, from corporate outside counsel.  Continuing Legal Education credits monitoring for all in-house attorneys.  Tracking and facilitating insider group trading clearances and notifications.  Ensures that supplies are maintained and ordered as required.  Administers and resolves Company-wide Scams, e.g., business directories.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Two-year degree or certificate in related field from college or equivalent combination of education and/or experience

Minimum of two to three years previous experience as executive/administrative assistant

Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
