Prominent author and lecturer is seeking a dynamic professional to assist with a wide spectrum of responsibilities, involving both business and personal matters. The Executive Assistant must be a flexible individual who enjoys multi-tasking and wearing many hats.

 

The position will include but not be limited to the following:

 Maintaining the Executive?s calendar and scheduling appointments (electronic/PDA and paper)Coordinating details for meetings, conferences and special eventsMaking travel arrangements and preparing detailed itinerariesMaintaining a filing systemHandling correspondence, including writing letters, phone, and emailProviding administrative support on any special projects Running personal errands for the ExecutiveCorresponding with other Executives on behalf of the employer

 

Qualifications for this position include:

 A stable work history providing support to an ExecutiveOutstanding organizational skillsExtreme flexibility to handle multiple tasksExceptional oral and written communication skillsAssociate or Bachelors Degree preferredExcellent ability to prioritize and handle confidential mattersPDA proficiencyExcellent computer skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

 

Previous experience working with the media or in the entertainment industry would be a definite advantage

 

The position is based in a professional office set up within the Executive?s residence. Hours are Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm. Salary is $50,000-$65,000+

 

Candidates already living in the Detroit area preferred.
