Lanier currently has openings for experienced copy operators and office equipment fleet managers with a top notch educational facility in the Oswego, Illinois area.

 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Coordinating and preparing projects for printing, including electronic file conversion, document scanning and enhancement, from start to delivery.
Downloading jobs from email or print queue, sizing, reproducing, sorting and finishing as requested.
Establishing and maintaining quality controls to ensure work accuracy.
Keeping logs of downtime, repairs and meter charges of all copiers/printers in the building.
Placing and tracking equipment service calls.
Replacing toner, cleaning machines and stocking paper as required.
Meeting and/or exceeding the customers requirements to ensure total customer satisfaction.

 

 In addition, the fleet responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Coordinating and preparing projects for printing, including electronic file conversion, document scanning and enhancement, from start to delivery.
Responding to first level phone calls from end users of equipment to determine the problems, clear paper jams, run test copies and determine status of machines.
Provide scheduled trips to all machines to conduct cleaning of the glass, toner replacement, stocking paper and general cleaning of work area.
Train end users to properly use all Lanier equipment.
Assist end users on the loading of print drivers.
Travel within a local area to manage fleet off site.
Deliver and install on-site loaner equipment.
Run reports as requested.
Communicate with customer to ensure that services are performed at or above expectations.

To qualify for our positions, you MUST meet the following requirements:
At least 1 years of experience specifically operating high volume copy equipment in a retail copy shop or corporate copy center.
At least 2 years of face-to-face customer service experience with a proven track record of keeping customers happy.
Stable job history with no more than 3 jobs in the past 5 years.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Expert level knowledge of MS Office programs, email and internet usage.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar skills and speaking voice.
Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
Ability to lift 30+ lbs. as necessary.
