FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER - OFFICE COORDINATOR

 

Very established, profitable (HEB) Hurst / Euless / Bedford family owned company is looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper and Office Coordinator. Experience with Mas 90 accounting software preferred but not required. This is a small office environment of 10 to 12 employees excluding sales staff.

 Position: Accounting Manager

Reports to:  President

 

Objectives:  Manage all accounting operations of the company including computer operations, accounting records and reports, financial analysis, payroll and general office administration.

 

Responsibilities:

 

1. Prepare and analyze financial statements for all entities and combine on a monthly basis.

 

2. Compile financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger   accounts, documenting business transactions.

 

3. Supervise the auditing of contracts, orders and vouchers and preparation of reports to substantiate transactions.

 

4. Responsible for the successful day-to-day operations of the Office Staff.

 

5. Design, implement, and monitor general accounting and reporting systems so that valid   reports are produced that will provide the executive staff with the information needed.

 

6. Monitor and analyze cost, schedule, and variances so that the causes of variances   are identified and reviewed with the appropriate staff member.

 

7. Make recommendations regarding the accounting of reserves, assets and expenditures   while monitoring all cash flow requirements.

 

8. Determine office staff work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites   workflow.

 

9. Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.

 

10. Work with outside CPA consultants in auditing and reporting of all companies financials.

 

11. Keep clear channels of communication open with fellow co-workers, management team, store managers and customers in compliance with company guidelines.
