This position will involve the repair and maintenance of the following equipment/systems: boilers, compressed air, pumping systems, chillers, HVAC units, hot water system, clean steam generators, PW pretreatment system, WFI stills, waste water systems, vacuum system, ph adjustment system and emergency power system.

You will work to keep this equipment in cGMP compliance at all times.
Assist in writing of SOP's, P.M.'s. and will maintain all needed documentation as required.
Provide support to all departments, interact with vendors, contractors and other personnel in a professional manner.
Be quality and safe minded about actions that involve repair/maintenance or modifications to any systems or equipment.
Be a team player with all departments.
Other duties as requested.
On call 24/7 as needed.

Cardinal Health's Biotechnology and Sterile Life Sciences division is looking for a Facilities Mechanic for our North Raleigh facility. The Facilities Mechanic will provide maintenance support to all Utility Systems at the STR site. As well as provide support to the aseptic manufacturing departments and work with all departments when called upon.

Five years pharmaceutical experience in the maintenance and repair of utility equipment/systems. Freeze drying experience, electrical and controls experience a plus.
