Administrative Assistant for Corporate Tax Department
Provide Administrative Support to the tax department. Perform standard duties of Administrative Assistant as well as diversified functions requiring a basic knowledge of routine office procedures.
Specific Responsibilities
? Process international billings on a timely basis, reconciling
researching & following up as needed
? Process payment requests, SA Journal entries, closes, modifications, etc
? Answer and screen incoming phone calls in a professional manner. Handle routine inquiries in absence of departmental management with maximum efficiency and discretion
? Process Time and Expense Reports for Partners
? Ability to handle routine inquiries in absence of departmental management with maximum efficiency and discretion
? Manage and coordinate calendar
? Ability to understand departmental challenges and priorities effectively
? Manage incoming mail. Sort, distribute, read and act upon accordingly
? Manage all arrangements for business travel
? Type and/or compose Word documents, create Excel spreadsheets and design PowerPoint presentations. Familiarity with Outlook, including calendaring features
? Handle all aspects of meeting coordination
? Coordinate with DGS the preparation of reports and presentations
? Photocopying/Faxing/Binding/Filing
? Assist other members of the ASG when needed
Candidate specifications
? High School Diploma and 3 years minimum of related experience.
? Excellent computer skills - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as the ability to learn and use firm-standard software
? Excellent proofreading skills
? Great client service attitude
? Self-directed - ability to function with limited direction/supervision
? Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
? Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
? Must be versatile and flexible
? Maintain a polished and professional demeanor at all times
? Must be well organized and detail oriented, with a strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks and priorities
? Ability to work in a team environment and support other members of the staff,
? Consistent work ethic that is strong and purely results oriented
