Finance Service Assistant
The Finance Service Assistant is responsible for performing administrative duties that allow the Finance department to interface successfully with the Order Fulfillment and Service Department by checking all service tickets for payment and updating each ticket so that invoicing appropriately and applying payment appropriately.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Receive calls from technicians for closing or rescheduling tickets.Review all chargeable service invoices daily for completeness of tickets and update both tech comments and financial adjustments.Evaluate charges, credit card information, checks etc. for accuracy. Contact customers regarding payment issues.Maintain cash control log for the Service Department and reconcile service cash box.Close out credit card machines daily and record on cash control log.Review and mail service invoices to customers in compliance with Finance Department.Other duties may be assigned as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have an Associates Degree in business or finance or equivalent experience.Must have strong oral and written communication skills.Must be detail oriented and recognize and treat information with a high degree of confidentiality. Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel. Able to operate a 10-key pad.
