Financial Analyst Senior

Provide various ad hoc analyses to the Executive Management Team. This requires coordination and communication with the Business Controllers, BASF Executive Management, and the Functional VPs. Specific tasks include:
1. Prepare the monthly management reporting documents (Express Report).
2. Coordinate and/or prepare the annual planning process for the corporation (primarily operational and financial).
3. Assist with corporate cost allocations and analysis.
4. Prepare presentations for the Corporate Controller, focusing on various financial metrics.
5. Prepare various monthly and quarterly reports.
6. Assist/lead various projects.

The individual in this role is expected to work independently with goals, deadlines, and job requirements from supervisor. Must operate under considerable pressure with frequent and often concurrent deadlines. Timeliness and accuracy of reporting and analysis is critical. Overtime is required during peak work periods. Must be able to work with and influence others to achieve success.

Bachelor degree in accounting or finance.
Minimum three years related work experience.
SAP experience.
Experience with MS Office applications (primarily PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. CPA or MBA.
Five years related work experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and finance, including macroeconomics.
Excellent data presentation skills.
Proficient with MS Access, Cognos, and Impromptu.
