Financial Assistant/Service Representative

Job Description:

 

Provide administrative and service support to the advisor and office manager, including: 

 Gathering client data Organizing and maintaining financial documents and data

 

Input updated values into appropriate planning software.

 

Maintain recommended lists of mutual funds, VAs, stocks, etc.

 

Maintain up-to-date literature on performance of Mutual Funds and VAs.

 

Respond to questions and concerns of the clients.

 

Schedule and maintain client meetings using contact management systems.

 

Client Reception includes: 

 Meeting & Greeting new and existing clients in reception area.

Job Requirements/Desired Skills:

 Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 preferred. Life License preferred. Experience in the financial services industry preferred. Understanding of retirement & financial planning concepts and terminology preferred. Knowledge of mutual fund, stock, bond, insurance, or annuity products helpful. Excellent communication skills necessary Proficiency with computer programs, including:

 * MS Office Suite, particularly Work, Excel, and Access.
