My name is Eric Swithin and I'm the President here at E. M. & Associates, Inc. I'm writing this letter today because we have to make some major hiring decisions in a very short amount of time.



We do sales and marketing for Fortune 500 companies. To be able to meet our client's demands, we need to open 6-8 offices within the year. In order for this to happen, I need to have qualified individuals in place at our Houston location trained and ready to move into a management role within a very short amount of time.



A handful of qualified individuals will complete our Director of Operations/Management Residency Program to learn our business from the ground up. Some of these areas include; business presentation, corporate consulting, marketing research, campaign development & management, test market campaigns, basic selling techniques, client negotiations, training & development, and team management. This job involves face to face sales of services to new business prospects. Once an individual has completed his/her residency, he/she will first take over 80-90% (eventually 100%) of my responsibilities in Houston so that I will be more accessible to travel and establish our offices in other cities.



Obviously, if you have a degree or years of experience, it will definitely help you move faster through portions of the Residency Program. However, I've been in business long enough to learn that nothing beats an ENERGETIC WORK ETHIC, EAGERNESS TO LEARN, and a HANDS DOWN POSITIVE ATTITUDE. This is the perfect opportunity for a new graduate who has the ability to be expedited to a senior level position.
