Food Service Administrative Assistant

This person contributes to The Pepsi Bottling Group’s success by providing administrative support for the contract database including set up, payments, budget, reconciliation and analysis. 

 

Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities 
Set up and maintenance of all contract files for the Market Unit
Implement and maintain contract database in Microsoft Access
Work with management to establish, apply, and enforce PBG policies as it pertains to contract processes
Process customer payments within terms of each contract, strictly adhering to payment guidelines
Establish supplier numbers and research payments through the Accounts Payable system
Assist Food Service team with preparation of customer payment system forms and other documents required
Assist in maintaining and documenting contractual budget for each year
Analyze and reconcile files for accuracy and completeness of documentation and payments
Assist with the general ledger reconciliation of the contractual budget on an as needed basis
Evaluate business acquisition model and return on investment documentation.



Basic Job Qualifications
Four plus years of administrative experience required
High school or GED a must
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
Experience working with contracts
Strong organizational skills
Attention to detail a must
Good communication skills
Able to learn PBG specifice computer systems
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
