Senior Sales Technical Support Specialist, Google Audio - Irvine
This position is based in Irvine, CA.
The Senior Sales Technical Support Specialist is responsible for four primary functions:
The technical and service training of the various Sales team (Affiliate, Media, and Systems);
To assist the System Sales team with technical sales support, which will include but not be limited to: sales support with prospective clients, product and service demonstrations with prospective clients, and Software/Hardware support of sales presentations and collateral (i.e. demo machines, SalesForce.com, WebEx presentations, Laptops, etc.);
Aggregating and documenting product and service requests, feature enhancements, bugs, errors, and any other misc. product or service information, as collected from clients and/or Sales professionals, and disseminating that information to Product Management;
Managing the deployment processes and documentation of the On-Air-Recording units.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Station Operations, the Senior Sales Technical Support Specialist will be part of a dynamic team that is building the world?s premier IP-based Radio Media Network. Ideal candidates will have the ability to consult with and present to customers, identify requirements, present technical information in easily understood terms and develop relationships that meet/exceed customer' needs.
Additional Responsibilities Include:Train various Sales teams on Scott Studios, Maestro, and Google Audio/dMarc products and services.
Provide technical sales support to various Sales teams.
Provide Hardware/Software support for Sales presentations and collateral (WebEx, demo systems, etc.).
Feed the product requirements process; disseminate input (enhancements and bugs) from customers, prospects, partners, and Sales people to Product Management.
Conduct Customer feedback programs and other systems to better solicit customer and Partner feedback.
Answer product-related questions from the Digital Systems and Affiliate Sales organizations as well as the support and field technician teams.
Coordinate with the EVP of Operations, Director of Sales Operations, VP of Customer Support, and Field Technicians on all On-Air-Recorder Deployments. Manage associated dashboard and cases within Salesforce.com.
Work with the Director of Product Management, EVP of Operations, VP of Advertising Solutions, Director of Media Operations, Director of Station Operations, Director of Professional Services, Sales Teams, and Support organization in gathering ideas and prioritizing product features.
Participate in weekly Product Management (where requested), Sales, and Support meetings providing input on customer related issues.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Marketing, Engineering, or Media-related field.
5-10 years of Technical Support/Traffic professional experience with proven systems/processes to deliver superior customer service.
In-depth knowledge of interactive or broadcast media and its competitive landscape.
Hands-on technical skills with the inquisitiveness to learn the products, work with them, and determine ways to improve them.
Ability to work in an dynamic problem-solving environment and synthesize strategy, plans, and solutions.
A work style that emphasizes a disciplined and organized approach to supporting customers.
