Group Financial Assistant (part-time)

McGraw-Hill Broadcasting has an opening for a part-time (24 hours per week) Group Financial Assistant who will be responsible for the following;?  Assist in the compilation and preparation of monthly reports as required by management.?  Assist in the compilation and preparation of quarterlyreview documents, tech spending reports and quarterly capital spending reports.?  Assist in the compilation and preparation of annual strategic plans and budgets using both Excel and PowerPoint.?  Involvement in the due diligence process, preparation of business models and preparation of PowerPoint presentation decks.?  Administration of Sarbox compliance requirements by completing updates to the on-line system as necessary.


Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with understanding of GAAP and accounting policies and procedures.  Three to five years experience in accounting/auditing, budgeting, analysis and forecasting.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential along with the ability to relate to employees at all levels in the organization.  Strong computing skills including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word and experience with corporate general ledger/forecasting systems (i.e. Lawson, OFA).
