Title: HR Assistant/Receptionist
Reports to: Human Resource Manager
Location: TEREX Cranes, Wilmington, NC
Work Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States

Position Description
The Receptionist at Terex performs two very important functions: the Receptionist is often the first contact for service to our customers, suppliers, partners and employees and he/she facilitates communication throughout the organization. Additionally, the Receptionist will play a key role in supporting many functions of the Human Resource Department and its strategic initiatives.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Level of education required:
? High School Education
? Certification from an accredited business school/college with courses in Business practices preferred.
Experience Level:
? Minimum of 2 years office experience required; 5 years preferred
? 1-2 years entry level HR experience preferred
Skills:
? Ability to initiate and answer telephone calls on a multi-line switchboard
? Working knowledge of the personal computer; word processing and spreadsheet programs
? Proficiency in using MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
? Good organizational skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Experience with mail processing and distribution
? Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
? Prior experience in an office environment or interfacing with customers/vendors
? Excellent interpersonal skills
? Ability to multi task and maintain professionalism under stress
? Proficiency in accessing and running informational searches on the internet.

Job Responsibilities
Specific Receptionist Responsibilities Include:
? Receive calls on a multi-line telephone console and give information to callers; screen and route calls to appropriate destinations
? Taking accurate messages
? Greet visitors, staff, and others in a professional, courteous manner; ascertain nature of business and direct visitors or callers to appropriate department or individual.
? Type reports, business correspondence, memos, schedules, and other statistical and financial data.
? Route incoming mail; responsible for sorting and post marking mail, mass mailings, and postage meter.
? Handle all incoming and outgoing packages for office Team Members
? Maintain and order all office supplies for Team Members
? Perform other duties as assigned
? Responsible for checking in all visitors
? Maintain informational boards with up to date company information
Specific Human Resource Responsibilities Include:
? Draft and disseminate all new Team Member announcements
? Schedule interview times for all open positions, including arranging travel for incoming candidates
? Filing of Human Resource documents and maintenance of record retention policies
? Scheduling of new Team Member Orientation, including all necessary training
? Maintaining and creating new Team Member packets
? Assist with the administration of payroll
? Maintain office phone extension and directory of Team Members
? Maintain all job files to remain in compliance with federal employment laws
