Health Claims Assistant

We are seeking candidates for a full-time, entry-level clerical assistant position in our health claims office located in Tampa, FL. Hours are from 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Monday through Friday.

PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE: Operating optical imaging system to produce and store images of incoming mail Sorting, processing and filing correspondence Handling clerical duties relative to payment of claims Miscellaneous typing

ADDITIONAL DUTIES INCLUDE:Answering phone calls and greeting visitors as a back-up receptionist

THIS POSITION REQUIRES:High School education and up to one year business experience PC skills ? MS Word experience Typing skill (45 wpm minimum) Strong attention to detail Timeliness and dependability Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Some knowledge of insurance and medical terminology is helpful A professional manner and appearance
