A local speaker and NY Times Bestselling Author (for more information, visit www.cherylrichardson.com) needs a real go-getter, part-time (10-15 flexible hours per week to start - likely to increase in near future) assistant who lives within 10 miles of Newburyport, MA. You?ll work out of your home (you?ll need a home office and a relatively new computer with all necessary protection), but must also be available to attend meetings from time to time.
Ideal candidate will:
- Provide secretarial support for CEO and Creative Director
- Manage CEO, staying one step ahead to alert her to what?s next
- Respond to customer inquiries via e-mail and phone
- Update website and client databases
- Conduct Internet research as needed and ?bottom line? your findings to convey necessary info
- Handle confidential information with discretion
- Coordinate travel arrangements with company-appointed travel agency, as well as research and book hotels and ground transportation
This role requires a well organized person with a high level of attention to detail, as well as the ability to set priorities and eliminate distractions in order to get them done. If you love streamlining any process and consider yourself a person with high standards and a graceful demeanor, we want to speak with you!
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must. The position requires a smart team player who?s confident enough to speak up, name problems, find solutions and share ideas and input on company happenings.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor?s degree and three or more years of professional administrative experience. You must be proficient in MS Word and Excel, and be extremely Web savvy.
