Job Description

Write and negotiate contracts for the acquisition of goods, services,
and information technology.

Evaluate and document supplier performance.

Work with the minority and woman owned business community to enhance
opportunities for diverse suppliers to participate in bid opportunities.


Issue Purchase Orders and ensure contract invoices accurately reflect
the terms of the contract.

Develop strategies to lower the total cost of ownership for goods and
services and to minimize company liability.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree and 3 to 5 years experience in procurement or
equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong understanding of contractual terms and conditions.

Excellent negotiation skills, software licensing and hardware
acquisition; intellectual property rights.
