Import/Export Administrator

We are a leading manufacturer and distributor of office product solutions and have an opportunity available for an Import/Export Administrator to join our Electronic Imaging Division headquartered in Irvine, CA.  Internally, you will interface with TABS Engineering, Material Handling and Inventory Control.  Externally, you will work with freight forwarders, steamships and air carriers to expedite movement of goods.   

 

You will be responsible for:

 

?  insuring proper flow through of imports from Asia and Europe  

?  insuring compliance and document flow of exports to Latin America  

?  timely and accurate delivery of shipments

?  insuring appropriate supplier documentation is in place

?  developing relationships to achieve total goal

?  monitor carrier performance to TABS specifications

 

Bachelors degree in business or equivalent experience.  Working knowledge of governmental regulations (19CFR) plus  2-4 years in high volume import/export transportation.  We utilize an AS400 based program; Ulrich and/or Tradesphere desirable but not mandatory.  Must possess solid PC skills including Excel.  Heavy data entry.
