Position Description:

Qualifications:
POSITION SUMMARY:
? International HR
? Administer Inpatriate Assignments
? Coordinate Saint-Gobain Corp. & Compagnie de Saint-Gobain International Seminar Management in North America
? Develop and maintain departmental billing and accounting, charge backs and reporting functions for above mentioned training program and international relocation; language training and translation work
Seminar Organization
Coordinate organization of IMS, International Management Seminar
Coordinate individual seminar budget & charge backs
Coordinate timely payment of deposits. Invoices, contracts signature
Interface with meeting planner, speakers, participants and outside vendors
Coordinate preparation and publishing of seminar materials
Maintain intranet site for SGC training Department
Inpatriate Administration
Administer programs in accordance with Company policies and procedures
Provide guidance and assistance to inpatriate employees
Assist in the development of inpatriate assignment process
Regular interface with foreign HR Managers, US host company, HR in North America as well as outside contractors for immigration, tax assistance and assignment management
Initiate immigration visa process for incoming expatriate
Follow-up relocation process to ensure customer satisfaction (contracts, etc?)
Coordinate yearly bonus payments, catch-up earnings payments
Interface with payroll and treasury departments
Provide benefits assistance
Accounting / Bookkeeping
Develop and maintain departmental billing system related to the accounting, charge backs and reporting function for SGC?s international Mobility vendors (Weichert, Hunton & Williams, Deloitte), training and development (hotels/Conference Centers, speakers, other suppliers), language services ( language lessons, translations)
General Office Work
Translations: Coordinate, disseminate to various translator, obtain quotes. Contact with internal customers.
Language classes: Coordinate authorizations, contact with language lessons providers, billing and charge backs.
Travel arrangements, expense reports, mail, telephone, ordering supplies, etc?
PROBLEM SOLVING:
Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work with all levels of the organization, and outsiders.
Knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures regarding Int?l Mobility administration
Must be able to operate independently when appropriate but understand when to escalate issues to manager. Must adapt to shifting priorities. Must have ability to work on several projects at one time.
KNOWLEDGE:
BA/BS in business related field
Bi-lingual (French) & Bi-cultural
2-5 years of relevant experience
Ability and experience to deal with confidential issues (payroll, benefits, etc?)
Strong organizational, interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, PeopleSoft a plus.
