Since its founding in 1986, American Capital Development (ACD) has been the finance and investment backbone of the American Capital Group?s businesses. American Capital Group (ACG) is a vertically integrated, full service real estate company specializing in the development, design, construction, management, and syndication of commercial real estate properties. ACD is seeking a dynamic Investor Relations Assistant to work under the direction of the Investor Relations Manager, and act as a liaison and contact between American Capital Development, Inc., 1031 Xpress, broker dealers, representatives and investors.

Responsibilities of this position include; documenting all conversations in investor files, schedule E, financing, underwriting, transfers, blue sky securities, fund availability, commissions and other applicable tasks, be attentive to the variety of investor personalities, be a good listener and identify their needs, and act as the company liaison between the Marketing Director and the home office while maintaining the departmental calendar. Additional duties include; notifying attorneys which broker dealers are expected to sell in each particular fund (find out what states each broker-dealer is approved in to sell), and track all incoming sales and prepare blue sky log for attorneys. Provide necessary clerical support, make travel arrangements, track correspondence and screen incoming phone calls.

Investment or Real Estate background a plus
