SUMMARY:
Responsible for all aspects of the Corporate Communications and Investor Relations department?s activities to help enable the most effective two-way communication between Cymer and the financial community and other internal and external audiences. Assist in the design and development of the company?s communication and contact programs for the buy- and sell-side investment professionals, individual shareholders, and the business media. This individual will be involved in all levels of Cymer?s investor relations efforts, including strategy, planning, and implementation of quarterly press releases and conference calls, slide presentations, special projects such as the annual report, annual shareholders meeting, and analyst day, and preparation of investor related marketing materials.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
? Provide support in the quarterly earnings process, including: research and assist in writing and editing of script and press release, preparation of slides used during the web cast; assist in preparing question and answer document; coordinate with web casting and conference call companies and track participation.
? Aid in preparation of slide presentations used during investment conferences and analyst meetings; coordinating conference participation and road show meeting schedules, including travel and lodging arrangements and interfacing with conference staff at various sponsoring firms. Attend several conferences per year and participate in one or more investor road shows.
? Investor ?targeting,? including research of institutions and individuals who should have an interest in Cymer and our industry.
? Work with IR director to plan and coordinate major annual events including the annual meeting of shareholders and analyst day. Handle logistics and event details, and contribute to creation of presentation materials.
? Maintain and update investor relations section of Cymer?s web site, particularly after quarterly conference calls and otherwise as needed.
? Maintain and update the investor database and various distribution lists, and the materials that are included in investor information kits.
? Participate in researching and preparation of the annual report, including coordination with designer, printer, and mailing house. Also participate in review and editing of various SEC filings including the 10-K and 10-Qs.
? Manage critical IR relationships, including NASDAQ, consultants, newswires, and other suppliers and vendors.
? Remain apprised of market and industry conditions, key developments for major customers and strategic partners, and Wall Street?s attitudes toward Cymer, our peers and our industry.
? Respond to requests for information via mail, email, or phone.
? Remain up-to-date on SEC regulations regarding investor communications.
? Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEUndergraduate degree or higher, preferably in finance, economics, communication, journalism or public relations, or other related field enabling a strong contribution to Cymer?s IR program.Requires two to three years experience in investor relations. Additional related experience in other areas of business communications such as corporate communications, marketing communications, or public relations would also be helpful.
