Japanese Bilingual Administrative Assistant
Administrative Assistant Bilingual Japanese
Our client is an industry leader in manufactured components for the Japanese automotive industry. This is a challenging position and a successful profitable company with stability and opportunity for advancement. The successful candidate will possess the ability to translate Japanese to English and English to Japanese verbally and in writing. This position will report to Japanese speakers as well as English speakers, therefore both languages must be spoken fluently.
Job Description
This position will allow you to utilize your bilingual Japanese speaking reading and writing ability in a Japanese company at their San Antonio Texas facility. Duties include:
In this position, you will support our field service technicians at a new automotive plant in San Antonio, Texas. We will maintain our presence as a tier one supplier in Texas for years to come. Carry out customer service duties including faxing, filing, emailing, answering and making calls.
This individual will process invoices, answer phone calls, accept and distribute mail and deliveries, order office supplies, maintain and organize files, and other duties as needed. This position will also assist the field service department with such things as travel arrangements, compiling data for budget review, and assist with project coordination. Liaise between departments facilitating communication through interpretation.
Some administrative duties will be required such as scheduling conference room, assisting expatriate staff in relocating to the US
.
Monitor inventory and carry out some light purchasing duties for office supplies.
Requirements
We are very interested in talking to candidates with the following qualifications:
Native level proficiency in spoken and written Japanese.
Automotive experience and previous Japanese owned business experience a plus
Must possess current US work authorization
Must have drivers license
