Legal Secretary- Trademark Group

* Work closely with Docketing/Accounting/Filing assistants
?* Prepare U.S./international travel arrangements and process expense reports
?* Engage in professional written/verbal communication with outside counsel, senior management and clients
?* Monitor deadlines requiring follow up
?* Draft routine correspondence and assist with media presentations
?* Prepare courier packages to U.S./international recipients

Additional, provide support to the Trademark Team in the following areas:
?* Prepare routine trademark documents and file online with U.S. Trademark Office/Trademark Trial and Appeal Board/U.S. Custom Office (i.e. Applications, Statements of Use and extensions, Renewals, Extensions of Time to Oppose)
?* Obtain/organize trademark evidence and other supportive documents (i.e. file wrappers, specimens, drawings)
?* Monitor dedicated email account for time sensitive correspondence from USPTO/TTAB
?* Perform Internet research and assist with other projects

* Trademark/intellectual property secretarial experience preferred, in a fast-paced legal or corporate environment
?* Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience preferred
?* Advanced PC skills (proficient using Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and the Internet)
Ability to learn function-specific software
?* Must be highly organized, proactive and willing to assume responsibility in a deadline-driven environment
