Licensing Coordinator

We are seeking a Licensing Coordinator for our Domestic Licensing group.  United Media is a leading information and entertainment company that syndicates and licenses popular properties worldwide. We are one of the largest licensing agencies in the world. For over 50 years, we have built our reputation developing leading entertainment brands including Peanuts, Dilbert, Precious Moments, Raggedy Ann & Andy and corporate brands like Mary Engelbreit and Iron Chef.  United Media is an operating subsidiary of EW Scripps. The Scripps Company is a diversified media concern with interests in newspaper publishing, broadcast television, national television networks, interactive media and television retailing.

 

Responsibilities:

? Coordinate meetings and weekly conference calls; take notes and disseminate

? Maintain schedules, time sheets, monthly expense reports, contact database

? Arrange travel itineraries

? Maintain daily communication with clients and licensees (?first line of defense? on approval issues, artwork questions, general troubleshooting, both internally and externally)

? Coordinate and interface with art dept., retail dept., and others on special projects, retail presentations, etc.

? Traffic and track deal sheets and contracts (pending through fully-executed)

? Upkeep of sales kits, marketing materials

? Handle product samples from client

? Assist brand manager in creating marketing materials and PowerPoint presentations

? Handle correspondence to and from licensees (i.e., faxes, email, mailings) and with supervisor guidance disseminate internally

? Become familiar with the approvals process for each property including the use of necessary forms. Supervisor may hand over approval duties once familiar with accounts.

? Issue requests for financial  information as directed by supervisor and track email correspondence to licensees with regards to quarterly budget forecasts needs

 

Requirements:2 years of work experience Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPointMust be able to work with clients and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to handle multiple diverse tasks on deadlineMust have strong follow up and organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and oralCollege degree preferred
