MOBILIZATION DEPLOYMENT ASSISTANT

Enthusiastic persons needed to develop family readiness programs within defined geographic areas. Professional persons will provide individualized, ongoing support and encouragement as well as direct information and referral services to Commands, Soldiers, Family members and volunteer groups. Will recruit, assist and mentor volunteers and Family Readiness Groups. Assist with the coordination of mobilization and reunion briefings, activities and events. Maintain databases of family locations, volunteer records and records of problems and issues with families.

Works independently with individuals and families from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Requires diverse management skills demonstrating the ability to plan and prioritize work. Requires a broad base of experience in military personnel matters, especially as they relate to the community social service programs designed to provide an environment conducive to a good quality of life for military, civilians, and their family members within the United States Army Reserve.

 

Minimum Qualifications : Will have considerable experience in preparation of both verbal and written presentations. Computer literate, to include ability to use the Microsoft Office products. Experience in the field of Social Services, Counseling, Human Resource Development or associated discipline from an accredited institution, and two years of experience preferred.

Candidate must be able to obtain a favorable National Agency Check (NAC).
