Our client, a leading energy company in Hicksville, NY, is currently seeking to hire for multiple mail room clerk positions for a long term temp assignment.

Mail Room Clerk is responsible for: Setting up and run inserting and mailing equipment Processing inbound and outbound mail Recording counts of letter types mailed out and received on writtenlog Separating by department and letter types Opening and date stamping all incoming correspondence Distributing mail Processing all outgoing mail according to type and cost center Coordinating with Supervisor/accounting to maintain postage needs Maintaining inventory of health plan and educational materials Contacting appropriate individual to reorder materials as necessary Providing additional clerical assistance Maintaining established mail processing, filing standards Monitoring mail room equipment and report maintenance needs Providing data entry assistance Performing other duties as assigned
