Mailroom Payroll Production Assistant

Growing company with new Des Plaines location is seeking a mailroom production clerk with prior mailroom/payroll distribution experience to support the payroll department. This position supports the high-volume production and distribution of payroll for clients in multi-state/multi-location environments.

Main responsibilities include:

?  Production, packaging, and distribution of payroll for multiple clients in multi-state/multi-location environments

?  Daily filing of invoices

?  Status inquiries with package carriers

Required skills and experience:

?  Prior mailroom/payroll distribution highly desirable

?  Ability to work afternoon/evening shift hours

?  Flexibility in daily shift end time (shift does not end until payroll is completed, packaged, and sent)

?  Working familiarity with mail delivery services such as UPS, FedEx, and courier

?  Ability to travel to alternate carrier drop-off locations to ensure timely delivery of payroll as needed
